Our litters with Candlewoods Little Trooper MH and SHR Soggy Acres Mighty Mojo WC, as well as HR Soggy Acres Desert Fox SH and Soggy Acres Dixie Belle are all doing well. These black and chocolate labrador retriever puppies are growing like weeds. They went outside for the first time today, and will start on mushy food tomorrow.

They are all sold, and will be off to their new homes the weekend of April 24th. We will start all of the lab pups on pheasant wings this weekend. Now the real works start and the evaluation begins!

Hello all,

We have some exciting litters upcoming in the next few months. We have taken deposits so I thought I would update where we are at with each litter. I also have news!!! SHR Soggy Acres Maddie Lou JH WC AWC is in heat and will be bred to Rommel in the next few weeks. I have that litter listed last and we are wide open for deposits on it!

The following litters and deposits are current for Feb. 1st. Hurry so you dont miss your chance to get a Soggy Dog!!

HRCH Waterdogs Rockhill Wizard MH X SHR Soggy Acres Josie Lee WC

Fox Red Puppies

Our Wiz and Josie litter is due the end of February. These pups, technically yellow, will have a fox red coat. They should be great all around pups for everything from competition to sitting on your couch.

We are still taking one more deposit for males and two for females. Once full we will take a waiting list for extra puppies.

HR Soggy Acres Desert Fox SH X Soggy Acres Dixie Belle

BLACK AND CHOCOLATE PUPS

Rommel and Dixie are expecting their litter in late February. This is a repeat breeding with dogs from the last litter doing great in training with several pros. These dogs will be great for hunting, companion or hunt tests.

We are still taking one deposit for a black male from this litter. We also will establish a waiting list for extra pups once the litter is filled.

Candlewoods Little Trooper MH X SHR Soggy Acres Mighty Mojo WC

Black and Chocolate Pups

Trooper and Mojo are expecting their litter in early March. This will be Mojos first litter and we expect big things from the pups.

We are still taking two deposits on chocolate males and black females. We are taking one deposit on black males and chocolate females.

FC Candlewoods Meet Joe Black X Gails Dixie Chic

Yellow and Black pups

Joe and Dixe are expecting their litter in mid March. This should be our top shelf breeding for the year. We are keeping a yellow male to develop as a stud dog for our breeding program. The skys the limit on these pups!! Both parents are also calm, affectionate house dogs.

We are still taking deposits on One yellow male and one yellow female. We are taking two deposits on black males and black females.

HR Soggy Acres Desert Fox SH AWC X SHR Soggy Acres Maddie Lou JH WC AWC

Chocolate and Black Pups

Maddie and Rommel will be bred in the next ten days or so. The litter should be born sometime in mid April. This is the first post for this particular breeding so we are wide open on deposits.

All of these labrador retriever litters have been paired for temperment and ability. The labrador retriever puppies should prove to be highly successful on the couch or in the field. Dont hesitate to call or email with questions about any of the above litters or dogs!

Pheasants Forever has always billed its largest event, National Pheasant Fest, as more than an outdoor tradeshow. The show is really about your favorite hunting field or a nearby wildlife area. It’s about Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever’s mission. It’s about wildlife habitat.

National Pheasant Fest is returning to the Iowa Events Center to rejuvenate interest in restoring and creating upland habitat in Iowa and beyond; to galvanize hunters to be strong stewards of the land; to give youth the sense that the outdoors and conservation can be fun and rewarding.

So bring the family, especially the kids. Come admire and inquire about the bird dogs. Seek out advice from wildlife habitat professionals. And of course, check out the great outdoor gear that will be available from all our sponsors and exhibitors. But most importantly, come ready to leave a legacy!

Jeff Fuller, owner of Soggy Acres Retrievers in Delavan, WI will be giving a training on Picking a Puppy and the First Six Months in Seminar Room 8 each day of the Convention. Make sure you attend this one of a kind training!
